Baker Mayfield brushes off Nick Bosa’s ‘premeditated’ celebration
Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield isn’t taking the bait on Nick Bosa’s flag-planting celebration.
Bosa mimicked Mayfield’s flag plant when the quarterback’s Oklahoma Sooners won at Bosa’s Ohio State Buckeyes in 2017. It was revenge two years in the making, and Mayfield knew it and didn’t criticize it.
#Browns QB Baker Mayfield on Nick Bosa flag plant celebration: "Good for him. He had it premeditated. He's been thinking about that, obviously, for two years now. That's a long time to think about that loss."

Mayfield seems a little bit proud that his actions bothered Bosa for so long, and maybe he should feel that way. Still, it’s not doing him any good right now. By Bosa’s own description, he seemed like a rather beaten man as the San Francisco 49ers dominated the Cleveland offense on Monday night, holding the quarterback to 100 yards passing and picking him off twice.
