Bengals reportedly telling teams they will not trade AJ Green
AJ Green continues to be one of the most popular names mentioned as a possible trade candidate heading into Tuesday’s deadline, but the Cincinnati Bengals have given no indication that they are willing to move the star wide receiver.
Teams that have called to inquire about Green’s availability have been told the Bengals have zero interest in trading him, Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reported on Sunday.
Teams also called about Cincy WR AJ Green and have been told they aren’t trading him. Darius Slay is another big name teams are calling about.

Green has not played this season because of an ankle injury, but he is expected to return in the next week or two. The Bengals are one of the worst teams in football at 0-7, and Green’s contract is set to expire after the season. While it would make sense for Cincinnati to trade the 31-year-old and get a high draft pick in return, they seem more inclined to re-sign him.
Green has six 1,000-yard receiving seasons and has hit that mark every season he’s played at least 13 games. He’s been linked to specific teams in trade chatter, but the Bengals have been adamant that he won’t be moved.
