Bill Belichick repeats 6-word response to report about him leaving Patriots
Bill Belichick may be nearing the end of his historic run with the New England Patriots, but the coach insists everything is business as usual for him heading into Week 15.
There have been rumors for months now that Belichick and the Patriots will part ways after the season. Earlier this week, longtime Patriots insider Tom E. Curran suggested that the team has already decided to move on from Belichick.
Belichick was asked on Wednesday about that report. The 71-year-old said he is solely focused on getting the Patriots ready to face the Kansas City Chiefs. As he has done many times in the past, Belichick repeated the same response when asked any question related to his job status.
Is it Bill Belichick's understanding #Patriots are preparing to part ways with him this offseason?

Have Belichick and Kraft discussed BB's future?

“I’m getting ready for Kansas City,” Belichick said over and over.
The response was as predictable as the questions. Belichick’s approach was reminiscent of his infamous “we’re onto Cincinnati” press conference years ago. He also took a similar approach when asked about New England’s quarterback situation last year.
The Patriots are 3-10 this season following their 21-18 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night in Week 14. They have one of the worst rosters in football. While Belichick is responsible for assembling that roster, it is possible both he and Patriots owner Robert Kraft are ready to go their separate ways.
Should that happen, the Patriots’ search for a new head coach will be one of the most closely watched in the league. There is one interesting candidate who has been linked to the job.
