
Speaking with the media is not Bill Belichick’s favorite job requirement. The New England Patriots coach seems to hate it even more at the NFL owners meetings, if that’s even possible.
Like he does every year, Belichick arrived late and was brief with his responses. But before he even began speaking, The Hoodie wanted to give himself some more elbow room.

Belichick was kind enough to field 100 questions in a session that lasted nearly an hour, but his answers to most of those questions sounded very familiar.
Belichick averaged 25.82 words per answer after his 340-word opening statement.

Simply put, that was a much different Belichick from the one we saw smiling alongside his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day. His irritability with the media never gets old.
