Bills make decision on their offensive coordinator job
Despite failing to advance past the divisional round for the third straight season, the Buffalo Bills will not be rocking the boat.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Sunday that the Bills are officially promoting Joe Brady to their full-time offensive coordinator. Brady had taken over the job on an interim basis after predecessor Ken Dorsey was fired in November.
Brady, still only 34 years old, is a major up-and-coming offensive mind. He skyrocketed to fame as the passing game coordinator and WRs coach of the LSU Tigers when they won the national title in 2019 (earning himself the Broyles Award as the nation’s best assistant coach). Brady then served as offensive coordinator of the Carolina Panthers before joining the Bills as their QBs coach in 2022.
Buffalo’s offense under Brady this season was a monster. Upon taking over in Week 11 after Dorsey’s firing, Brady helped the Bills post 27.0 points and 380.7 yards per game en route to a 6-1 finish to the regular season. While Brady was once targeted by a division rival, he will now be staying right where he is in Buffalo.
