Blake Bortles brushes aside Jadeveon Clowney’s ‘trash’ comment
Blake Bortles on Wednesday brushed aside some trash talk the way he’s handled many oncoming pass-rushers this season.
Bortles was asked about the comment from Houston star defender Jadeveon Clowney, who called the QB “trash” following Jacksonville’s thumping of the Texans in Week 15.

“If how we’re playing and how I’m playing — if that’s ‘trash,’ then I’m fine with being ‘trash,'” Bortles said.
True. At 10-4, Bortles’ Jaguars have already clinched the AFC South and are looking like a dangerous playoff team. Of course, that’s more due to their devastating defense than the play of Bortles, which is probably exactly what’s so frustrating to guys like Clowney.
