Jadeveon Clowney calls Blake Bortles ‘trash’
Jadeveon Clowney was understandably frustrated after his Houston Texans got smashed by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, so he was in no mood to hand out compliments.
Clowney talked after Houston’s 45-7 defeat and said the Texans were beat badly on both sides of the ball. Then when asked about Blake Bortles, Clowney called the Jaguars quarterback “trash.”
Jadeveon Clowney: "They beat us on both sides of the ball. They beat us, bad…They were that much better than us today….Nobody wants to get beat like that. It's embarrassing to the whole organization, everybody on the team." (Asked if Blake Bortles is improving?) "He's trash."

Were you really expecting Clowney to heap praise on an opponent after a game like that? The Texans allowed Bortles his highest passer rating of the season. Bortles completed 21 of 29 passes for 326 yards, three touchdowns and no turnovers.
When you allow that kind of game to a quarterback who’s not too highly regarded, you’re going to be extremely upset.
