Brandon Marshall agrees to one-year deal with Saints
The New Orleans Saints were dealt an unfortunate blow when Dez Bryant suffered a torn Achilles after just one practice with the team, but they managed to add depth at the wide receiver position by signing another former Pro Bowler.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Brandon Marshall has agreed to a one-year deal with the Saints.
Veteran WR Brandon Marshall is signing a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints, per source. In his 13-year NFL career, Marshall never has played in a playoff game; his chance now awaits.

Marshall was recently released by the Seattle Seahawks after he caught just 11 passes for 136 yards and a touchdown. He spent the 2017 season with the New York Giants but appeared in just five games before suffering a season-ending injury. There was speculation that Marshall, who is 34, might retire, but he was intent on continuing to play.
Marshall’s deal will likely look similar to the one Bryant had signed with New Orleans.
