Chad Kelly is moving on up in the world.
Kelly was working with the No. 2 offense during Denver Broncos practice on Monday, according to Mike Klis.

Paxton Lynch, who was the team’s previous backup quarterback, worked with the No. 3 offense.

Kelly was the “Mr. Irrelevant” from last year’s NFL Draft and did not play during the season due to wrist surgery. The former Ole Miss QB played well in the team’s first preseason game last week, going 14-for-21 for 177 yards with 2 touchdowns and an interception. Lynch, a former first-round pick, went 6-for-11 for 24 yards and an interception.
Case Keenum remains the team’s starting quarterback, though like Lynch, he did not look very good in their preseason opener.
