Browns WR Elijah Moore suffers involuntary shaking after concussion

Elijah Moore on the ground

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore suffered a concussion during Thursday night’s Week 17 game between his Browns and the New York Jets. His actions after he suffered his brain injury were concerning.

Cleveland was leading 27-14 late in the second quarter and had a 2nd-and-7 from their 28. Joe Flacco threw a pass to Moore, who had a gain of 22 before being tackled by C.J. Mosley. Moore’s head was driven straight into the turf face-first on the tackle.

Moore’s reaction to hitting his head was concerning. He had some involuntary shaking, which is a clear sign of a brain injury.

Moore was quickly ruled out due to a concussion. He had 5 catches for 61 yards and a touchdown in Cleveland’s playoff-clinching 37-20 win.
