Cole Beasley sent a few tweets on Tuesday that would qualify for some of the most surprising tweets of the year.
The topic began after Beasley responded to a comment from Dallas Cowboys VP Stephen Jones saying the team made a run at keeping the wide receiver, who signed with the Buffalo Bills in free agency. Beasley brushed aside the comment by questioning the timing of the Cowboys’ offer. This was not a surprise considering the Cowboys had reservations about paying him big money.
A Twitter user threw a little shade at Beasley, suggesting he regretted choosing the Bills over the Cowboys. That’s when Beasley defended Buffalo.
“Actually if we wanna compare from a players perspective buffalo s—s on Dallas. Facilities for recovery and training are top notch!” Beasley said in a tweet, edited for profanity.
Beasley further backed Buffalo and the Pegula family, which owns the Bills.
Sounds like people need to do some research. We are doing big things over here in Buffalo. The Pegulas have it right.

The Bills only have one playoff appearance since 2000 and just three winning seasons in that span, with no more than nine wins in a season. Because of that long stretch of poor play, they’ve been viewed as a substandard franchise. Conversely, the Cowboys are known for taking care of their players and having top-notch facilities.
Maybe they are turning things around as Beasley’s comments indicate. Or maybe Beasley just understandably feels a lot of love for a franchise that gave him a four-year, $29 million contract.
