Colin Cowherd takes victory lap over Baker Mayfield rumors
Colin Cowherd has arguably been more critical of Baker Mayfield than any other media personality. With rumors intensifying that Mayfield may be on his way out of Cleveland, Cowherd could not help but take a victory lap.
Cowherd shared a video to social media on Wednesday of himself enjoying a beer and making clear that he was taking delight in Mayfield’s downfall.

“I don’t like to dunk on people,” Cowherd says in the video. “But I think Cleveland owes me an apology.”
Cowherd has been a critic of Mayfield’s going all the way back to 2017, when the quarterback was still at Oklahoma. Mayfield has never been shy about firing back at those criticisms, and even produced anti-Cowherd merchandise a couple years later.
Cowherd, who long predicted that Mayfield would go down as a draft bust, will probably have much more to say if and when the Browns move on from Mayfield.
