Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton has been skipping offseason activities over a contract dispute, but he made a major announcement about that on Thursday.

Sutton said on DNVR Broncos Live that he will be at minicamp next week despite his unresolved contract situation. He added that it has been “killing” him to miss OTAs, and that he is eager to get back with the team.

“I will be there,” Sutton said. “It’s been killing me not being able to be at OTAs, man. This has been a very different offseason than I’ve been a part of since I’ve been in the league.”

Sutton has one year remaining on his current contract and is in line to make about $14 million in 2025. Though he has just one 1,000-yard season to his name, he would probably be justified in asking for a raise given the state of the market. He is likely to step into a big role this season, partly due to the offseason trade of Jerry Jeudy.

Last season, Sutton caught 59 passes for 772 yards and ten touchdowns.
