Report: Cowboys targeting Josh McCown after missing out on Nick Foles
The Dallas Cowboys are in search of a veteran backup quarterback after Kellen Moore suffered a broken ankle, and their primary target may need to be acquired in a trade.
NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Cowboys have interest in Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown.

Dallas was reportedly considering signing Nick Foles, but he ended up agreeing to a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs on Wednesday.
While Robert Griffin III is expected to win the starting quarterback job with the Browns, we have heard some reports that make it seem like Cleveland should keep McCown around. But if Hue Jackson is truly committed to RG3, he may decide to move McCown.
