Dunkin’ Donuts had yet another embarrassing situation involving an NFL logo on a cup.
Some Dunkin’ Donuts customers in the Philadelphia area published complaints on social media Thursday after being given cups that had the New England Patriots’ logo on them.

Philadelphia is the home of the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles, and few cities have fans as passionate about their teams than Philadelphia, so such an error wasn’t going to go unnoticed.
Upon being informed of the error, Dunkin’ said they had notified the appropriate teams.
Thank you for making us aware. We have notified the appropriate teams.

“Dunkin’ Donuts is a proud supporter of several football teams, and due to an error at our distribution center, a small number of cups with team logos were shipped to markets incorrectly. We have taken steps to ensure all of our local restaurants are stocked with the correct cups and to prevent future errors. We appreciate our loyal customers for throwing the penalty flag on us and bringing this situation to our attention,” Dunkin’ told ABC 6 in Philadelphia.
Though it won’t make the Philly fans who received the Pats cups feel much better, they should keep in mind that the opposite happened earlier this month at a Dunkin’ Donuts in Massachusetts.
