Dalvin Cook ruled out for Week 3 against Bills
Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook left last weekend’s game against the Green Bay Packers in overtime with a hamstring injury, and it was apparently serious enough that he will need to sit out at least one game.
On Friday, Vikings coach Mike Zimmer announced that Cook will not play on Sunday vs. the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills have looked like one of the worst teams in the NFL through the first two weeks, so it’s hard to say if Minnesota is simply being cautious with Cook. The former second-round pick missed most of last season with a torn ACL, and the Vikings don’t want to be without him for an extended period again this season.
