Report: Darren Sproles out indefinitely with injury

Darren Sproles

Darren Sproles left Sunday’s game against the New York Giants with an injury that will keep him out indefinitely.

NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport says Sproles is believed to have suffered a broken arm and is out indefinitely.

Sproles left the Philadelphia Eagles’ game early on Sunday after getting hurt on a touchdown drive in the second quarter.

Sproles was said to be holding his wrist in the locker room after leaving the game, and the Eagles said he had left the game with a wrist injury.

The shifty back had three carries for 11 yards in the game. Both Wendell Smallwood and LeGarrette Blount saw increased workloads the rest of the game and each received 12 carries. Rookie Corey Clement also saw his first action and rushed for 22 yards and a touchdown.
