Zxavian Harris and Dae’Quan Wright aren’t going to get an opportunity to play football for either the LSU Tigers or the NFL after the latest ruling by the league.
On Wednesday, the NFL sent a memo to teams stating that Wright and Harris are “ineligible to visit, try out with or be signed NFL clubs” during the season, according to Netflix insider Tom Pelissero.

Both Wright and Harris left the NFL despite being on training camp rosters. They tried to go to LSU, but Lane Kiffin ultimately decided not to add them to the 105-man roster after he faced much scrutiny from the SEC and others.
The SEC announced a hefty punishment for schools that had NFL players on their rosters, and LSU went back and forth before Kiffin decided not to play them.
The NFL noted in the memo that this list is not inclusive of all 2026 draft-eligible players who returned to college and directed questions about other players to the league’s management council.

There is still a chance that the SEC hands down some punishment for Kiffin and the LSU Tigers program, although it might take some time.
Nonetheless, Harris and Wright will now have to wait another year to play in the NFL after a whirlwind of events.
