Dontari Poe signs with Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons have signed defensive tackle Dontari Poe to a one-year contract.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that the deal is worth $8 million, with incentives that could bring it up to $10 million.

Poe, who weighs nearly 350 pounds, is one of the better nose tackles in football. The former first-round pick spent the first five seasons of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs. He was previously said to be close to signing with the Indianapolis Colts, but the two sides never came to an agreement.
Poe is only 26, so it is somewhat of a surprise that he had to settle for a one-year deal. He should be able to sign a multiyear deal next offseason if he has a strong season in Atlanta.
