Drew Rosenhaus ends relationship with Antonio Brown until WR seeks counseling
Antonio Brown has burned countless bridges with his antics over the past year-plus, and the latest to sever ties with him is his agent — at least for now.
Brown’s longtime agent, Drew Rosenhaus, wrote a letter to the NFL Players Association on Thursday informing them that he has terminated his relationship with Brown until the star receiver seeks help. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Rosenhaus said he is willing to work with Brown in the future, but only if Brown gets counseling.
Agent Drew Rosenhaus conditionally terminated his relationship with Antonio Brown today until the free-agent WR seeks counsel, per an NFLPA source. Rosenhaus wrote in the letter that the NFLPA received today that he would like to work with Brown, but not until he first gets help.

Brown’s attorney Darren Heitner has also removed himself as counsel for Brown.

Rosenhaus has defended Brown through a lot, including the way Brown forced his way out of Oakland and the sexual assault allegations that were levied against the Pro Bowler. However, it would appear that Brown’s latest outburst was the final straw for Rosenhaus.
Earlier in the week, Brown shared video of himself on Instagram live berating police officers outside his home and cursing at them in front of his children. The actions were deplorable by anyone’s standard, and they will likely impact Brown’s chances of finding work in the NFL next season. That could have a lot to do with why Rosenhaus and Brown’s attorney are finally distancing himself from the receiver.
