EA Sports trolled Seahawks over goal line play in Super Bowl
With just over a month until the latest edition of Madden NFL video game series hits shelves, EA Sports is gradually releasing the rating of players by position. On Tuesday, the top rated running backs were announced.
The top five doesn’t contain any real surprises with Le’Veon Bell, DeMarco Murray, Jamaal Charles, and Adrian Peterson grabbing spots five through one. The best running back this year is Marshawn Lynch, with a 96 overall rating. He was given a stiff arm rating of 99 and “trucking” rating of 98.
Obviously, a 98 at running over people is really, really good. However, the Seahawks wanted that one extra point.
C'mon @EAMaddenNFL! What's a Beast got to do to get a 99 TRUCKING? [http://t.co/fxhgqQcdYX]

The Seahawks probably weren’t expecting the response they received.

Ouch.
Lynch said he was expecting the ball at the end of Super Bowl XLIX. Everyone watching thought he would get the ball too. He didn’t and, as a result, Lynch’s Madden rating suffered. And, the Seahawks lost the Super Bowl.
