Earl Thomas

Earl Thomas has not reported to the Seattle Seahawks this offseason and has been seeking either a trade or a raise, but the All-Pro safety is reportedly planning to join his teammates in advance of Week 1.

Thomas told ESPN’s Josina Anderson that he is planning to report to the Seahawks on Wednesday.

Breaking: S @Earl_Thomas just told me he plans to report to the #Seahawks today.

There had been talk that Thomas was willing to sit out regular season games, but that is apparently not the case. His name is still being mentioned in trade talks, and the Dallas Cowboys are said to have upped their offer for Thomas recently. The possibility of a trade still exists, but it is a positive sign for the Seahawks that Thomas is showing up for work.
