Given the new information that contains Brown’s admission to repeatedly beating his ex-wife, Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole reported Thursday that the NFL and the Giants are discussing further punishment for Brown. One possibility is an indefinite suspension for Brown. The league will be particularly stringent considering the recent incidents involving Adrian Peterson, Ray Rice, and Greg Hardy.
Brown was arrested in May, 2015 for domestic violence, but the charges were dropped five days later. He originally received a one-game suspension from the NFL. Then this came to light.
After the Rice fiasco, the NFL will not be taking this one lightly.
