A woman is suing Jacksonville Jaguars defensive lineman Marcell Dareus, alleging that he gave her an STD.
According to News 4 in Jacksonville, an unnamed woman filed a claim against Dareus saying that they had sex multiple times and she ended up with herpes. The woman says the two went on a date in Houston on April 7 and spent the night in a hotel room. The woman claims she could not recall what happened the night before but was told by Dareus they had sex. They then had consensual sex a few more times over the next few days.
She claims Dareus never said he had an STD before they had sex.
It is unclear whether the woman has also filed a criminal complaint against Dareus.
The 28-year-old is midway through a 7-year, $103.2 million deal signed in 2015. He had just two sacks and 28 tackles in 14 games last season.
