Saints OL Jahri Evans Says Ndamukong Suh is Dirty After the Whistle

Saints guard Jahri Evans is a Pro Bowl lineman preparing for his team’s Wild Card playoff game against the Lions Saturday. He has one of his toughest assignments of the season — protecting Drew Brees from Detroit’s rowdy defensive line led by Ndamukong Suh. Though Evans respects Suh, he recognizes the Lions lineman is dirty.

“I think some things he does is dirty, after the whistle,” Evans said, according to The Times-Picayune. “He needs to put a cap on that, but he’s a phenomenal player.”

Fellow guard Carl Nicks is prepared to act if Suh gets out of hand.

“If he tries some of the stuff on us that he does to other guys (in the league) I don’t think it would fly with me,” Nicks said.

If you’re wondering why all this is coming out now instead of Week 13 when the Saints beat the Lions 31-17, it’s because Suh was suspended that game for — you guessed it — a dirty play. But remember, Donkey Kong isn’t dirty until his mommy says so.
