
James Conner had to be helped off the field after suffering a lower leg injury late in Sunday night’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Conner caught a pass out of the backfield on 2nd-and-10 in the fourth quarter and picked up 10 yards for a first down. His right leg was bent awkwardly as he was tackled, and he went down in pain.
Conner had to be helped off the field and was replaced by Jaylen Samuels. He was later shown hobbling down some stairs as he left the field.
The Pittsburgh Steelers running back had 15 carries for 60 yards and two touchdowns, plus three catches for 14 yards prior to his injury.
