Jarvis Landry wants respect from next Browns head coach
Jarvis Landry’s take on what he wants out of the next head coach of the Cleveland Browns is quite interesting and perhaps telling.
Landry leaned on the word “respect” when asked about the key traits he wants in whoever the Browns hire to replace the fired Freddie Kitchens.
Asked WR Jarvis Landry for the key traits needed in the #Browns next head coach: “Someone who demands respect, someone who respects his players and someone who respects opponents.”

Could this be an indication that Landry thinks Kitchens didn’t possess those traits and didn’t have the respect of Cleveland players? It’s entirely possible, especially since Landry declined to back Kitchens publicly just before the coach was fired.
In fact, nobody in Cleveland seemed happy with Kitchens, who looked in over his head during his one year on the job. It sounds like Landry is looking for professionalism and someone who can command the locker room — two things that Kitchens perhaps struggled with.
