Report: Jay Cutler has shoulder injury, could be season-ending

Jay Cutler’s season continues to find ways to get worse.

The Chicago Bears quarterback suffered a shoulder injury during Sunday’s game against the New York Giants, and there is concern it may end his season, according to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune.

At the very least, Cutler will miss some time, and Matt Barkley will have to step in as Chicago’s quarterback.

The #Bears will know tomorrow if Jay Cutler’s injury is season-ending. Either way, it’s not good and he’ll miss games. Frustrating season.

This means it’s plausible we’ve seen Cutler play his final game in Chicago. His teammates reportedly don’t like him and he’s a near certainty to be released once the season is over. He’s not exactly going out in a blaze of glory.
