Jay Z supports Colin Kaepernick with jersey on ‘SNL’
Jay Z showed where his allegiances lie during his appearance on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend.
The rapper was the musical act for the season premiere of the show and made a statement by wearing a jersey supporting Colin Kaepernick.

The jersey appeared to be custom made as it said “Colin K” on the back, rather than the standard “Kaepernick” seen on the back of the quarterback’s old 49ers jerseys.
Jay Z has been passionate about supporting black people in the sports world. He said on a podcast that he bought three pairs of Big Baller Brand shoes to support the Ball family and their venture. There were also reports saying the rapper turned down the NFL’s invitation to perform at halftime of the Super Bowl, with some saying his actions were a response to the league’s treatment of Kaepernick.
