Report: Patriots’ Jeremy Hill out for season with torn ACL

The New England Patriots have lost running back Jeremy Hill for the season.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, Hill tore his ACL during the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans and will miss the remainder of the 2018 season.

Hill took a helmet to the knee during the third quarter of New England’s win over Houston. He had worked his way into a key role for the Patriots after making the roster ahead of Mike Gillislee. We’ll see if New England opts to make a move and bring in some extra help at the position going forward.
