Former Panthers, Broncos, and Bears coach John Fox is out of a job right now, but he has no plans to retire.
Fox told 9News’s Mike Klis that he intends to wait for the head coaching market to settle before looking for a new job, possibly as a defensive coordinator somewhere.
As Bears replace John Fox with Matt Nagy, Fox told me he's not retiring. He's waiting till dust settles with teams filling HC positions to see if he can get a job. He was longtime defensive coordinator before he became head coach in 2002. #9sports

Fox had 22 years of experience as a defensive backs coach and defensive coordinator before landing his first head coaching job. He seems willing to go back to that, and he’s made it quite clear that he fully expects to find a new job sooner rather than later.
