Johnny Manziel reportedly leaves rehab
Johnny Manziel’s stay in rehab may have lasted just over six weeks.
ESPN Chicago’s Sarah Spain tweeted that Manziel left rehab Friday afternoon. The Cleveland Browns quarterback entered rehab on Jan. 28, meaning he has been in rehab just over six weeks so far.
We know that Manziel was doing some good deeds, too. He sent his sister, Meri, flowers:
He's my best friend and I would be lost without him. Love you J to the moon and back pic.twitter.com/Nzk2E6o4ne

Browns beat reporter Mary Kay Cabot reports otherwise, saying that while Manziel is likely at the point where he can leave, he is still in inpatient rehab.
#Browns spokesman said Manziel is still receiving treatment and the club is respecting his privacy. Lg source tells me it's still inpatient

Even though #Browns Johnny Manziel is still in inpatient rehab, he's likely at the point where he can leave the facility for brief stints.

Manziel has a reputation for partying — one that he built by sharing photos on social media of his frequent traveling ways. He has been photographed possibly preparing to snort cocaine, and some have described him as an alcoholic.
Manziel, drafted in the first round last year, spent most of the season on the bench and suffered a season-ending injury against the Panthers, just his second start of the season. The team was said to be frustrated with his work ethic and even had to pick him up from his place the day before a game because he was hungover from partying.
Manziel was the one who ultimately made the decision to go to rehab. For his sake, hopefully his stay was long enough to convince him to change his ways and become a more professional, dedicated athlete. He has a long way to go to prove to the Browns that he can be their franchise quarterback. At this point he probably does not figure too greatly in their plans.
