Johnny Manziel has words for Twitter ‘retirement’ critic
Johnny Manziel went financial scoreboard on a Twitter critic during the week.
On Tuesday, Manziel tweeted a photo of himself kicking back with his feet up, enjoying a beach view from the rooftop at 1 Hotel South Beach in Miami Beach, Florida. Manziel captioned his message, “retirement”.

Someone questioned Manziel labeling his lifestyle as “retirement”, saying that Manziel never worked a day in his life. Manziel’s response was to tell the critic to enjoy his 9-5 job, which is a lifestyle Manziel is confident he will never know.
Enjoy your 9-5 . That’s something I’ll never know

Manziel was a first-round pick by the Cleveland Browns in 2014 and played two seasons for them before being cut. He played in the Spring League in 2018, the CFL in 2018, and had a brief stint in the AAF in 2019 before that league folded. Manziel seems to have no further interest in a football playing career, saying that is something “in the past” for him.
