Report: Jordan Reed may not return in 2018 due to foot sprain
The injury news for the Washington Redskins continues to get worse.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, Washington tight end Jordan Reed suffered a foot sprain that is not believed to be severe. However, given the timing and nature of the injury, he may not return before the end of the season.
#Redskins TE Jordan Reed, who suffered a foot sprain in Sunday’s loss, is having a precautionary MRI. The injury isn’t believed to be major, but given the timing of it, he may have played his last down this season with three games to go.

Reed has been somewhat limited this season due to occasional injuries, but has still caught 54 passes and two touchdowns. His absence will pretty much wipe out the offensive weaponry for quarterback Josh Johnson as the team limps to the finish line. On the bright side, Reed won’t be subjected to this anymore, and can watch the season crash and burn from a distance.
