Josh Allen addresses Stefon Diggs’ latest sideline outburst
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs was seen venting some more frustration during Sunday’s loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, prompting some more questions about his relationship with quarterback Josh Allen and the team. On Wednesday, Allen addressed the issue and tried to put it to rest.
Cameras caught Diggs clearly frustrated at the end of Sunday’s game, sparking speculation regarding who or what he was upset with. Allen said Diggs was upset at himself for running the wrong route. The quarterback added that he was “tired” of the outside criticism of Diggs as well.

“He was mad at himself for running the wrong release on a route,” Allen said. “I’m tired of hearing all this nonsense from people. … It ticks me off when people want to say something about him.”
Diggs has received plenty of that scrutiny in the last year. Much was made of his relationship with the Bills during the offseason, and he had to deal with the fallout of one of the team’s own media members being caught talking negatively about him on a hot mic.
Diggs has not actually caused any problems on the team, and his quarterback clearly has his back. It simply does not sound like this is a big deal.
