Tim Tebow isn’t the only former NFL quarterback to get a look from a team on Monday. Josh Freeman was also in the mix.
Bleacher Report’s Mike Freeman reported Monday that Freeman worked out for the Jets and supposedly “did well.”
Josh Freeman had recent workout with Jets. I'm told he did well. Several other teams taking hard look at him.

Freeman’s name has been off the pro quarterback radar for about as long as Tebow’s has.
The former first-round pick was once a promising young QB after throwing for 25 touchdowns and just six interceptions in his second season with the Bucs back in 2010. He regressed the year after but threw for 27 touchdowns and 17 interceptions in 2012. Then amid a struggle with former Bucs head coach Greg Schiano, Freeman was benched, smeared in the media, and eventually released in 2013. The Vikings picked him up, plugged him in as their starter, and he was terrible. Word about his poor work ethic circulated and Freeman was cut by the Giants in late May last year. This is the first we have heard about him working out with a team since then.
