Josh Gordon could reportedly still be reinstated in 2016
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon could still be reinstated by the NFL this upcoming season, despite the latest addition to his growing list of off-field issues.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Gordon’s potential reinstatement will be delayed at least two or three months, as the NFL wants to see if he can go that long without failing another drug test.
Josh Gordon's potential reinstatement will be delayed until NFL feels comfortable he has 60-90 days of no red-flag tests, per league source.

So if all goes well and if Josh Gordon stays clean – big ifs – he could be reinstated to play the 2016 season.

Gordon reportedly failed an NFL-administered drug test in March when he tested positive for marijuana and dilute. He applied for reinstatement in February, so the timing could not have been worse.
For what it’s worth, Gordon seemingly refuted the report about his latest failed test when he sent these tweets.
Gordon missed the entire 2015 season after he tested positive for alcohol while in the NFL’s rehabilitation program. At one point, he was said to be doing well and it sounded like the Browns were getting ready to welcome him back. Another positive drug test combined with the news of who Gordon has supposedly been living with does not bode well for the 24-year-old’s NFL future.
