Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert was spotted out with his new beau again over the weekend, but this time, the pair had some additional company.
Herbert was spotted out with his new girlfriend, pop singer Madison Beer, in Hollywood, Ca. on Friday evening. Eagle-eyed social media users noted that Herbert had some company in the form of his two offensive tackles, Joe Alt and Trey Pipkins.

Naturally, this led to a flood of jokes about Herbert bringing his offensive line to protect him on dates. One social media post even jokingly compared him to his predecessor on the Chargers, Philip Rivers, who famously has ten children.

Realistically, Herbert was probably spending a night out with his girlfriend and invited his teammates along for a casual evening together. The jokes about Herbert using his two linemen as bodyguards were just too easy to make, though. Considering how big Alt is, it might not have been the worst idea if he’s trying to keep people at a distance.
Herbert and Beer appear to have been seeing each other for at least a month or so. The 26-year-old singer is a Grammy-nominated artist with over 40 million followers on Instagram and nearly 13 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
