Kendall Langford and Alec Ogletree went a little overboard celebrating a goal-line stand by the Rams’ defense against the 49ers on Monday night.
The Niners were up 24-14 and decided to go for it on 4th-and-goal from the 1. Carlos Hyde was stuffed by the Rams, and Langford decided to throw a hammer fist at Hyde while the back was on the ground. Ogletree then danced on the grave by dropping the ball on Hyde. The Rams were penalized for the taunting and got pushed back to about the 1-inch line. They ended up punting.
The 49ers got the last laugh in the form of a pick-six to seal the 31-17 victory.
Silly Rams.
