Meet Kirk Cousins’ wife Julie
Kirk Cousins is not your average third-year player in the NFL. The Michigan State product is 26 years old, married, and mature beyond his years. He was 19 when he entered college, redshirted a year, and he was already 23 when he got drafted. It’s no surprise that he has already found a wife.
Cousins and his wife, Julie, got married on June 28 after about two years of dating. According to The Washington Post, they met through a mutual family friend and dated for about a year and a half before Kirk proposed last fall.
Cousins told The Post that he bought the engagement ring during Washington’s bye week last October and held onto it until proposing Nov. 22 at the Capitol.

Julie Cousins – formerly Hampton – is from Georgia and her family is full of Bulldogs fans. She is also an elementary school teacher and seems like a very cool wife who supports her husband and enjoys going to sporting events.
