Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson is headed to the NFL, and he doesn’t seem particularly enthused about the suggestions that he should try to become a wide receiver at the professional level.
Former Indianapolis Colts executive Bill Polian suggested that Jackson should focus on becoming a wide receiver at the NFL level. Some analysts firmly disagreed, including NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah.

Jackson himself more or less suggested that he’d be following Jeremiah’s advice.

Given that there is at least an outside chance that Jackson could be drafted as a quarterback late in the first round or early in the second, there’s no way the former Heisman winner is giving up on that dream before he even gives it a chance. Besides, he’s received high praise from one player who went on to become a successful NFL quarterback.
