Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy left Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins with a knee injury, and it sounds like it is somewhat serious in nature.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that McCoy suffered a torn MCL and is considered week to week.
Bills RB Leseasn McCoy tore his MCL and is considered week to week for final two weeks, per league source. More testing scheduled for today.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, McCoy could return for Week 17 against the New York Jets.
Unless McCoy is dealing with a very minor tear and not experiencing a lot of pain, it makes little sense for the Bills to not shut him down. Buffalo is officially eliminated from playoff contention after Sunday’s loss, and this is not the first torn muscle McCoy has dealt with this season. There’s little reason to push it.
