Luke Kuechly suffered a concussion during the second quarter of the Carolina Panthers’ opening game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

Kuechly is a former Defensive Player of the Year and one of the top defensive players in the league. The concussion comes days after he signed a five-year, $62 million deal with Carolina.
