Micah Parsons is not getting too worked up about the impending snub by his former team.
The Green Bay Packers defensive star Parsons is set to make his return to Dallas this coming Sunday to play the Cowboys for the first time ever as an opponent. The matchup comes just one month after the Cowboys traded Parsons to the Packers following a messy breakdown in contract talks.
Earlier this week, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones revealed the team won’t be giving Parsons a tribute video during the game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Tex. Jones said that he didn’t think a tribute for Parsons would be appropriate.

Speaking with reporters on Wednesday, Parsons reacted to Dallas’ decision to deny him a tribute video.
“There’s a lot of things I can consider disrespectful throughout this process, but I wouldn’t say the tribute is one of them,” said Parsons, per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. “I just think there’s hard feelings maybe there for them. But for me, I’m happy where I’m at. And we got a really good football team. So I guess I can leave you my tribute in a win, I hope.”
Parsons, 26, only played with the Cowboys for four seasons. While he was an absolute stud for them over that span (making four Pro Bowl teams, earning three All-Pro selections, and recording a monstrous 52.5 sacks overall), tribute videos are indeed usually reserved for players who bring either longevity or playoff success to their respective teams.
The ugly breakup between Parsons and the Cowboys also probably ensured that no tribute video was ever on the table for the talented pass rusher. Parsons has since gotten in some laughs at Jones’ expense too, so it will likely take a lot longer than Week 4 for the two sides to be able to bury the hatchet here.
