Mitch Trubisky booed by home crowd in first game back
Instead of receiving a hero’s welcome in his first game back on Sunday, Mitch Trubisky got a reception fit for a villain.
The Chicago Bears quarterback, who was making his first start in nearly a month due to a shoulder injury, was roundly booed by the Soldier Field crowd for his poor performance during the first half of their game against the New Orleans Saints. The boo birds were particularly loud after Trubisky threw away a pass on third down late in the second quarter.

Trubisky, who has thrown for just three touchdowns all season with two interceptions to boot, could not get anything going in the first half against the Saints, passing for just 78 yards with a brutal 63.3 passer rating.
Perhaps the problem was that Trubisky wasn’t wearing his lucky arm sleeve.
