Report: Pacman Jones agrees to jail time as part of plea deal for casino arrest

Pacman Jones crying

Former Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones found himself in trouble with the law once again last month, and his latest run-in with police will result in some jail time.

Jones agreed to a plea deal this week in cases involving nine felony and five misdemeanor charges stemming from his arrest at an Indiana casino back in February. Authorities said Jones was suspected of cheating at a table game and struck a public safety official when confronted. Some of the charges include intimidation, battery against a public safety official, cheating at gambling and attempted theft.

On Thursday, Jones entered a guilty plea to one count of felony cheating at gambling and one count of misdemeanor resisting law enforcement. The details of the plea agreement are confidential until it is filed by the court, but TMZ reports that prosecutors have agreed to drop all the remaining charges in exchange for Jones serving 10 days in jail and not drinking during a probationary period of a year and a half. He has also been banned from the Rising Star Casino.

Last month’s incident was at least the second one Jones has been involved in at a casino, as he was kicked out of a different casino for disorderly behavior back in 2015 but not arrested. The 35-year-old has been arrested multiple times during his NFL career, and the casino incidents probably seem like nothing to some of his other arrests.
