Pat McAfee rips Skip Bayless for criticizing ‘non-football player’ kickers
Unless you like punts and missed field goals, Sunday night’s game between the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks was tough to watch. No one was more infuriated by it than Skip Bayless, and the defensive struggle inspired him to lash out at all NFL kickers.
After Chandler Catanzaro and Steven Hauschka traded missed chip-shot field goals in overtime, Bayless called for kicking to be eliminated from the game of football.
I despise field-goal kicking. Great athletes fight their guts out for 4 quarters and overtime and 2 nonfootball-player kickers blow it.

Some day somebody will listen to me. Field goal kicking should be eliminated. Keep punting but you must go for it or punt every 4th down.

Although Bayless said he is all for keeping punting a part of the game, the man who does that for the Colts was not flattered. Pat McAfee unloaded on Bayless with some serious name-calling:
But, my brother.. All of us pro ball kickers LOVE old men who get on TV & act like douchebags while wearing makeup.. Let's hug it out. https://t.co/4pe9AUMs7U

Advantage: McAfee.
The game truly was horrendous, as the Cardinals and Seahawks played to a 6-6 tie that left Pete Carroll with one of the best facial expressions you’ll see this season. But get rid of kicking altogether just because we saw two missed bunnies? Not going to happen.
