According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Gruden will receive an unprecedented ten-year deal, the longest in NFL history for a head coach. He’ll make around $100 million over the course of that deal.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network is reporting that Gruden already has at least three members of his staff in place.

Clearly, Gruden had a pretty high price to return to coaching, and the Raiders were desperate enough to make it happen, even as other teams reportedly balked at the coach’s asking price. It’s a remarkable commitment to make — but the costs will be great if it backfires on Oakland.
The Raiders are expected to introduce Gruden in a press conference on Tuesday.
