The Las Vegas Raiders are not shying away from their gameplan to stop Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 16.
Raiders defensive back Jack Jones may have essentially summed up the team’s approach on Thursday when speaking to the media. He referred to Mahomes as a “magician” and pointed out that by stopping Mahomes, you essentially stop the Kansas City offense.

“Mahomes is the magician. You stop the magician, you stop the act,” Jones said.
This may look a bit disrespectful to the Chiefs’ wide receivers, but they have not been much of a threat lately. The team’s issues with dropped passes have been well-documented, and an obvious source of frustration for the quarterback.
Of course, slowing Mahomes down is much easier said than done. The Raiders seem confident that they have the means to do it, though.
