The Philadelphia Eagles delivered one of the worst gambling beats you will ever see at the end of their Week 3 game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
The Eagles beat the Rams 33-26 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa. The Rams trailed 27-26 with 3 seconds left and had a shot at a game-winning 44-yard field goal, but Josh Karty’s kick was blocked.
Defensive tackle Jordan Davis returned the blocked kick for a touchdown.

The touchdown only mattered to those who gambled on the game. Philadelphia was a 4-point favorite in the game, which means they had to win by at least 4 points to cover the spread. Those who wagered on the Rams at +4 probably thought they had won their bets regardless of what happened on the last-second field goal.
It looked like the Rams were either going to win 29-27 or lose 27-26, which would have been a cover for L.A. either way. Instead, the Eagles put the exclamation point on the victory and covered the spread for anyone who bet on them.
If you had the Rams +3.5 that’s possibly the worst bad beat in history

Instead of Rams FG to win, Eagles block it and score big man TD to cover as time expires

That may have been even worse than the bad beat we saw involving two other Pennsylvania football teams last week.
